So this weekend I spent hours cooking with so many fruits to show from my labor. Two big batches of homemade spaghetti sauce. A huge batch of crepes from my Mom’s recipe, which I made into cheese and meat manicotti. There was enough for dinner, leftovers and another pan for the freezer, along with several containers of sauce for future Italian meals. And my son loved the meal, which is always a feat. And the best part? I’d never made the crepes before. I’m so proud and feel connected to the long line of women in my family who love to cook!
